Yes sorry typed too fast. Thanks for the correction, it should be less than 30mins not 3mins. Great news that the GH3 has no recording limits outside of Europe.
Another consideration of using a DSLR over a camcorder is that at least for canon, once the monitor out is linked to a monitor, the live view screen will be blank, that means you have to look at the monitor (which could be a40" TV) and move your camera around, and not only that, the display box for AF will also be on the monitor (cannot get rid of it, Canon Singapore said it is like that but recorded video will not have this box). For camcorders, both issues don't happen.
My other consideration is the effectiveness of wifi in broadcasting the filming 'live' to a computer and thus projecting to an entire dining hall. Anyone tried any wifi 'live' transmission yet? Anyone any camcorder recommendations for this as well? It could help both myself and the thread-starter in selecting a useful camcorder. Thanks very much in advance.
