Does anyone know the price of a canon handgrip? I'm thinking of purchasing one for my canon eos 30.

I have one spare made by Hakuba Japan which is similar but more steady as it has a plastic plate that you can screw on to the base of the cam. You still can mount it on the tripod with the grip on though.

I own EOS30 also. I went to CP and ask for the hand grip (original canon), they quote me S$50. Felt too expensive, so never buy. Thirs party is cheaper, but hard to get.
