Canon 400D - Latest Price ???

I've been asking around and the cheapest offers I've found for 400D kit set are

S$ 1390 - Hoon Cheong (#01-34, Sim Lim)

S$ 1410 - Best Cam (#05-19, Funan)

Are these shops alright? I mean did anyone have BAD experience with them?

I bought my D50 from Bestcam some time back. They quoted a very good price for the basic kit but tried to sell me accesories at inflated prices.

When I turned down their inflated offers, they almost refused to sell me the kit. In the end, bought an extra Kingston 1 GB SD card at $20 above market. The kit was about $30 cheaper than AP next door, so reckoned still got a good deal.

You have to do your homework before dealing with them.

I believe I was cheated by Hoon Cheong a couple of years ago when I bought a Samsung Handycam. So I don't believe in all those cheapest shops in sim lim. Go for some shop which is known well.
