Can we edit video recorded on DVD+R?

Can we do editing on the DVD+R recorded on DVD recorder? If we can, how to?
I thought of editing on PC.
Heard we need to convert the video first, or something like that.
Anyone?

yes can. usually its recorded as VOB files. so u need to "rip" it first to editable files. and the edit it. but dependiing on which editing software u using: some of them allows u to use VOB files directly.
