Can the video editing softwares change the ambient light in the video clips

Hi

I am a newbie.. I was taking some video clips at twilight and din want to switch to night more..the video clips are kinda dark in background..

Is there a software which can change the ambient light in the clips or make the background brighter.

You can definitely lift the shadows by boosting the signal using the correct colour correction tools. Do note though that in boosting the signal you will also get increased noise or graininess.

Try using Adobe Premier/After effects - "Adjust Levels"

Play around with the whites/darks or gamma. U'll get some noise and graininess in ur video though.

yes, a gd tool to use is called magic bullet look v1.0
it can give you a lot of flexibility but it's expensive. hehe

depending on software but easily done look under colour correction, white balance, auto adjustment, filters, effects, black and white etc most professional software can do it easily

fif you using firewire hook the cam to the comp if you camera support firewire in and out
then connect the video out put to CRT 14 inch TV set you TV every setting to the mid setting
when u render you can do the setting right away Dun need to buy spyder
