govt stopped giving nsf as officers as they serve 2 years and ord , so now officers is definitely a regular?

then Reservist Companies, Battalions and Platoons will have no officers to command.

Er, I served 2 years and I know people who became officers, don't know what is your logic here..

Are you saying that all NSF officers only become officers after 2 years?

I ord 2004 as a 3rd sg, that time
there is still NSF as officer, cos few years later ns also became 2 years only
no matter what your education level
is , so I thought there
were some changes thruout this year, hm.. i ever heard from someone ( I can't
remember the person who told me
this .. NSF being officer is impractical , cos u spend much money to
groom him after that he ord that's it? will be better to save the slots
for regulars?

I ORD on Mar 2006 as a LTA. I'm pretty sure I'm still an officer today.

My brother is currently in the military now, and there are plenty of NSF officers, according to him. BMTC platoon commanders are still mainly NSFs, just like a lot of other units.

pretty sure it's wrong info, otherwise there will be a severe shortage of officers. Dun think there's so many regulars to go around...future reservists will be led by outward bound school instructors liao.

You information is wrong. NSF Officer need to serve longer than others.
They are better cheap labor than regulars, who may quit for private sector after contract expires.
