Just trying to explore the SLR old-school film picture taking. I have some new Nikon DSLR lens, can I use these on the old SLR cameras?

Really depends on the lenses you have. If your lenses are full frame lenses and have an aperture ring, you should be able to use it on most of the SLRs. If your lenses are without the aperture ring, you can use them on the newer bodies like the F55, F75, F80, F100, F5 and F6

Thanks! All my lens are DX. I think they are without the aperture ring. It's been a while since I have looked into my dry cabinate. As I remembered, I have
the following Nikon and other lens with F mount -

Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF

AF-S DX NIKKOR
18-105mm F3.5-5.6G ED VR

AF-S DX NIKKOR
18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II

Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD Lens For NlK0N Mount

Tokina AT-X 116 f/2.8 PRO DX II (11-16mm)

I would like to find out if I can use these lens if I get the FXXX Nikon SLR camera bodies.

Thanks.

Yup the 50mm is fine. The AFD has the aperture ring and is full frame

Which type of SLR are you looking at - manual or AF bodies?
