Can high ISO in D300 compensate 18-200mm VR in low light situation?

dude, i can CONFIRM with u that 18-200 VR with my D300 TOTALLY outperforms my D70 and 17-55/2.8 in night mode.

i've got SO many keeper LOWLIGHT shots with the d300 using the 18-200. The jump in low light perormance from d70 era -> d300/d90 is absolutely mindblowing.

i suggest, get a d90, not d300, unless:

1. faster (not even say SUPER alot faster) AF
2. Faster FPS
3. Weather seal body

is important to u.

One more for D300 is the ability to meter with non-CPU lenses. If you don't need that, then D90 is fine.
