Comments from my brother who has tried Capture One. "Capture One is probably the most powerful in terms of features but it has a very steep learning curve. Also, it is a annual subscription, and the first year of subscription already cost more than DXO.

For myself, I mostly shoot landscape and wild life so probably do not need the extra featuresof capture one eg. Skin Tone editing. Anyway, I have Photoshop to resort to if I ever need in those features. So I am seriously considering PhotoLab 6 as well.
