Camcorder for wedding, children... etc

Hi guys...

I have an olympus e510 and also a panasonic gf1... gf1 capable of high resolution video.
My wedding is coming up in october and was thinking of investing in a camcorder. Would it be advisable to keep to a digital camera for videos or invest in a camcorder for videos.. Of course after the wedding it would also take holidays and kids next time...

What would you guys advice on this usage... and if so what models would u recommend? My head is spinning from all models available thru google... saw some camileo that is pretty cheap....

If synched audio is not important, then GF1 is a great camera. You can use a Zoom H1 to record audio from external mics separately.

Would u say that hd video is not really impt? Cause most likely it will only affect streaming straight from camera whereas we will still compile it on computer?
