Do you use the Marker function on the camera to check exposure on faces?
I've heard from a DOP that he uses it to meter faces and that ideally, it should fall somewhere in the 32-36 region. I've tried it and find that it tends to look a bit under exposed and I find myself setting exposure on the face at about 40. Are there situations where one set of values apply better than the other?
Also, when exposing for Caucasian faces, we know that Zebras at 70% is about right for the highlights. On the DVX, Zebras start from 80% so how? Also, is 70% for highlights correct for light-skinned Asian faces?
