I dissapprove of 2 things.....
Firstly, regardless how dissapointed you are in the shots..... never count it as a failure... it's having disregard for yourself... and NO regard for the model...The other thing is when working with a fresh model... and you find the rapport lacking... it's never a good idea to continue shooting.... what's more.... non-professionals are seldom used to the idea of posing in sexy attire (especially if working with a non commercial photographer...) either shoot her enough fully dressed until she feels comfortable to work with more intimate sides of herself.... or straight off produce results that she feels she's not being short-changed spending her time with you in whatever skimpy attire she's in...
On the model end, it's obvious she's pretty new to portrait posing ( or done lots of shoots without learning technical posturing...) expression, eye contact and lack of rapport with you shows... its a very harsh truth... to make the most of a model ... you've got to at least interest her in your images or personality... so the first time working with a model is probably the most vital .. for any doubts created during the first shoot, will definately not lead to a 2nd..
This is purely judgemental from my working experiences... just to share.. hardly a critic.. and lastly.... i dont think u should disregard your abilities.... if it didnt turn out well... like the rest say... there's always another day to make up for it..
Cheers bro!
