Is it cheaper to get Canon cameras in Japan than in Singapore?

Try kakaku.com if you can read Japanese. Compared to Australia its cheaper but don't think the warranty works outside of Japan. Japan used to be cheaper to buy Japanese stuff but with China making everything but camera bodies and lenses its probably better to buy in Singapore.
