Dear All,

BORG telephoto lenses are fully made in Japan and can be configured to become a spotting scope, telescope or travel scope when not shooting with DSLR cameras. The BORG FL Series come with Fluorite lenses supplied by Canon Japan. Such lenses have very similar specifications to the famous L Series professional DSLR lenses marketed by Canon.

BORG telephoto lenses are removable for storage even in a small dry cabinet or for transportation purpose. The bodies are made of special aluminium alloy which is known for its light weight.

BORG lenses are fully manual systems but allow for auto exposure via aperture-priority mode. These versatile lenses fit to ANY DSLR cameras on the market. A mounting ring for your specific DSLR camera is supplied FREE for the promotion below.

Check out the following pages on our McGill website for further details of popular models:

BORG would like to introduce you to the combination of two rapidly advancing technologies applied to the field of bird photography. This marries the optics of the advanced astronomical refracting telescope, optimized for high resolution of distant objects, to the increasingly high-resolution digital imaging sensor of the modern digital SLR camera.

Why use a telescope instead of a telephoto lens?

Brighter and more contrasty images compared with telephoto lenses
at same F-number due to the use of fewer optical elements.
High resolving power of lenses built to the standards required
for astronomical photography.

Adaptable to many different brands of camera bodies (virtually all
DSLR's currently available).

Short minimum focusing distance accommodated with extension tubes
for macrophotography.

Lighter weight than equivalent telephoto lenses.

Relatively lower cost than equivalent telephoto lenses.

Reconfigurable for visual use.

Can be disassembled for convenient travel packing.
