just curious and bouncing an idea that could be implemented:
Have a HP number recording system for members using BNS. this numbers can be kept private within the system, just like how one can choose not to reveal bday/age on their profile.
what the HP system can do:
Prevention of clones. each time a new member registers, have to key in a valid telephone number, which will be associated with the account. this number can be cross checked with the list accumulated, which effectively renders any "clone" accounts moot.
some fallbacks:
1: no proper way of identifying phone number. unless one decides to use a more complex system of sms confirmation code, found in banks, this system is still limited to its uses.
2: no proper way of ensuring that the number is the only number used for bns. one may have multiple phone numbers. however, if a bad seller, unethical seller has been found, the number and account can be immediately voided. over the long run, even if a guy has x number of hp numbers, with the same practices, can be possible to totally bar him from the system.
it seems like there is some increasing level of ppl using BNS as a profiting platform, and loads of unethical buyers and sellers. this might be a good measure to deter and prevent further occurences...
