Shall start a photo a day to improve my skill.
Comment and critiques are welcome.

Hi blurrblurr. Welcome to APAD.

Your picture is a nice attempt to shoot a building differently. However, as it is, the image is a little too flat for my liking, i.e. don't feel that the black circumference, the building and the sky are in distinctive area, but blend altogether like on a flat piece of paper. Leave it as it is, if you prefer to represent it that way. If not, you could perhaps increase a bit of contrast, by either playing around with the saturation of the sky and or play around with the contrast and lightness settings.

Snapsnap posted a similar (but IMO, better) shot in his APAD recently as well. You may wanna refer to it to see how to improve on your shot.

A minor note, the circumference in the foreground isn't whole. The building at the top left hand corner is just too distracting in my books.

Ic I get what you mean. Thanks for the tips.

Shadow from the top, and incomplete shadow belong the subject is err... too distracting. I bet you must have seen something that must make you wanna take the picture. But it's probably what you didn't notice (i.e. how the shadow "damage" the perspective) that make this shot a not really a good one. I don't think there's anyway to edit this, other than painstakingly "heal" the shadowed parts in PS. It's a very tedious, and often not very fulfilling process...

oh never realise the shadow on top. maybe not observence enough
