I just put up a blog on Pinhole photography and what you'll need to play around with it.

How to make a pinhole camera

Even if you are one of those "digital purists", you can get into pinhole photography...albiet the long exposure times usually required for pinhole photos don't do well with digital...I mean, battery drain...plus all that noise...but that can always be corrected by spending a lot more $$$ on buying more batteries and noise correction software... ;)

I have a question.

I connected the new film to a used film canister. Then pix are taken by turning the used film canister.
Many guides mentioned unloading the film by winding it back to its original canister.

Can I dun rewind? In this case, I will cut the joint and send the "used film canister" for development.
I was thinking it might prevent the film from accidental exposed.

Which type of camera are you using? Something you made yourself? A kit? Something commercial?

Also, what format? 35mm doesn't go from cannister to cannister. 120mm goes from spool to spool (no cannisters). :dunno:

It is not a pinhole camera. Actually it is a medium format camera - Yashica. As I wanna expose the sprocket to capture some images, so I did that modification to the medium format camera by loading in a 35mm film instead of 120 film.

The 35mm canister is shorter than 120 spool, so Styrofoam was used to support the two ends in 35mm-canister.

Back to my questions, do i need to rewind back to the original canister or can I just send the "used" canister for development?
