Black stripes appearing in all photos

Hi all, I have just developed my first roll taken with a M2 off ebay, and there are black streaks appearing in the middle in all photographs.

Does anyone know what is causing this? The body has never been CLAed before and I guess its time for me to sent it in.

It appears only on the scans. At first I thought it might be a dirty scanner, but I tried scanning another different roll but it turns out fine. Read from rrf, it could be a case of shutter capping? hmm:dunno:

If it appears only on the scans means the camera itself is fine. It could be that this particular roll exacerbates the problem on your scanner. The only real way to be sure is if you scan the same roll on a different scanner.

I have just developed another roll using a different brand of film, the streaks are much less prominent now. Most probably is dirt on the pressure plate, might be worthwhile to bring it for a check. Nonetheless thanks for the replies guys!
