why dun u just buy one? a moderately good one with reasonable resolution, colours and sharpness can be obtained < $300
just treat it as one time investment...... binoculars are much more easy to keep than lens and camera and they are dam hard to spoil.. just remember to keep them in the dry box and it can last u decades to come..
