Binoculars recommendation?

Hi guys,

Intending to get a binoculars for an upcoming trip to South Africa and also for future bird watching. Any good recommendations and where to get them and the price??? Hoping to get one that is < S$100. Possible? Preferably not too big and heavy too (its for my wife too!).
