i am definitely younger than u but crumpler is very kiddish to me. ppl say billingham look like women handbag. :angry:
A good tradeoff IMHO would be to get the more subdued black version of the Crumpler shoulder bags, that will give you the stealth of a Crumpler, without the loud colours.
Uhm, but if I saw a sixtysomething year old uncle carrying a Crumpler, I would still do a double take (and probably take a photo of the sight).
i also have a crumpler, another good bag
but in more muted colours

wa, then all billingham owners become kuniang ah? :bsmilie::bsmilie:
abit. :sweatsm::sweatsm:
join the gang. either billingham or domke.
today went to the exhibition and saw KATA bags.
tried it, wow, not bad. the padding looks and feel good. the design of the bag is abit too cyber for me, though. :bsmilie:
me too. but my friend bought 2 last week. hardcore. i think i will go for domke although the savings of getting billingham quite substantial.
i am not really sure how long is the 18-200 VR, i am assuming it is quite short, just for comparison sake, i can fit a 30D+Grip with 17-40L in the centre portion (after taking out the removable centre divider) of my F3x, that leaves some space for more lens. the J3 IIRC, is similarly sized, perhaps slightly bigger. fyi, i can also squeeze my 580EX in the side pockets, your SB600 will do fine.
OT: for those who are thinking CP's pricing for Domke is overpriced, getting them online via ebay is slightly cheaper (with shipping included!)
my understanding that domke bags are not that padded... true?
:dunno:
