Beware of Workshop organizer MonoBeauty aka Bobman

Beware of this organizer. He cancels most of his shoots with the advertised models and tries to lure you to take on other models since he already has your advance payment, and if you decide you want a refund.. Good luck! I have asked him politely to refund and it's almost two weeks now and he hasn't done so. I had reminded him a couple of times and he keeps telling me he will refund.

Is bobman and monobeauty the same person?

If so, it's a repeated case but he did refund eventually.

Are they the same person? I though that the lighting for Bobman's shoots were much better than MonoBeauty's so though suspect, did not think it was so.

Nude shoot, erotic shoot, playboy style shoot, etc. This is something special that the one and only chap offers.

Many would wanna to try it out at least for once.

$250 or $300 paid in advance. That is no big deal la. BTW, this shoot is for fun, as a hobby and leisure and paid with some spare cash. This cannot be for bread and butter.

I have lost a few k in shares. I have also lost a few k in bad debts.

Good to alert newbies on this chap. After that, just move on and take this as a $300 learning experience.

I am here and also made known to people or many also know that I operate the shoot under the handle of Monobeauty and Bobman for general posting.

I have a question to ask the people here:

1. What happens if the participant did not turn up in the shoot and ask for postponement? Do you think rightfully that the fee should forfeited? Fine that we sometimes understand that due to nature of the work, one has to work overtime or family matters, I allow such postponement and thus I lost one slot on that day.

2. After the second shoot, the participant did not show up or called but later called and said he has an emergency meeting and sorry here and sorry there. Fine I arrange another shoot for him.

3. Lastly because the model is working on a bigger budget project in some part of the world and need to postpone her shoot and only one model could come, he took the opportunity to cancel the shoot and ask for refund right away. And starts writing on the internet if he couldn't get his demand.

I will not say any further, I actually had this type of incident 2 years ago. And now its happening again. Well, I think I can handle the situation now better then before. Ignore these people and move on. These people will get the money back, not because of what they wrote, its because rightfully its not my money.

May he find a better forum for himself, and hopefully he can resolve his dispute with monobeauty.

hmm, you told me to start in koptiam and it was moved to feedback without me knowing it.. so i restarted the thread in kopitiam which was suggested by another senior member [vince123123] who was also involved in helping resolve the issue before.

i don't really give a horse crap if you unreg me. see there are thousands of other photog sites out there and yours is a small one at that and there's really nothing here that i can't get from anywhere else.

if there was an unregister button in my profile, i'd do it myself.. so what are you waiting for? move those fingers and unregister me NOW!!!
