Betta (fighting fish) lovers

Hi betta lovers, does anybody know any Singapore betta forums? or any reputable shops which have large variety of bettas to choose frm other than serangoon north area? coz I myself stay near serangoon north so i know most of the fish shops there.

2-3 yrs back before I entered NS

or
u can join betta club (sg) at www.bettaclub.org.sg/forum/portal.asp

Personally I purchased my bettas mostly from local breeder ..
Or if ur good enough .. kind local breeder might lend a pair of betta for u to spawn.

do u know how to allow the fries to live sucessfully? my usually die after weeks & if i lucky, i will get 1 or 2.:sweat:

try doing a search in arofanatics subforum .. or online.

betta frys are very tiny and wont be able to eat anything from flakes to powder .. best is to

1)giving them enough food
a)find a source of microworms (u should able to buy a starter kit from betta forum)
b)create your own infursoria (own make bateria)
c)algae (create before spawning / scrap them off from the corner of big longkang)
d)buy 'ang boon', daphnia (pasir ris fish farm hv it)
e)hatch own brime shrimp eggs (bbs or known as sea monkeys)

2)change water regularly as they are very prone to velvet diseases

u should be able to find most answers in arofanatics cos I used to be quite a regular from there .. when bcs wasnt set up yet ..
