Thanks in advance.

Try Hung Brothers at Sim Lim Sq. They have everything and reasonably priced. Expandore also have some good stuff and have exclusive deals for Audio Tech stuff.

I'm planning to get the NTG-2. not NT2, my mistake.

Try hung bros sim lim 3rd floor. Until now i personally feel that they are the most reliable/trustworthy in sim lim.

I noticed that the prices on display for their mics are super expensive. Do they normally give a large discount, or is this what they actually charge?

guess better find out the price somewhere esle first and compare, so roughly u know where to bergin.. probably they mark up hi for foriegners:dunno:.. Ang mo may got throat cut, but ang mo like u have been in S'pore long engh n know the price well will have no worries..;)

U mean the price tag stuck onto the mics? In the first place they seldom do so. But well quotation from their mouth tends to be cheaper to much cheaper depending on which product is it. Normally i get my things quite cheap from them(the longer u buy from them, the better the price ;-) )

There are always a lot of mics with price tags on display near the entrance. I don't know who would pay such prices, angmoh or whatever, because the US and UK pricing is so much lower, even including 17% VAT for UK sales. I did buy a Rode mic there once, because it was on offer and the price displayed was very attractive. The staff are very helpful also. But the other mic prices they show are so high I would not want to use that as the starting point for a negotiation. I think their policy will probably lose them sales rather than make them more profit, but I'm not a businessman so what do I know ha ha.

Thanks alot guys. I got my gear from Hung Brothers.

Thanks again.
