Best Bangkok's Cam-Shop for Nikon Lens

Hi All.

I'm going to Bangkok next week. Anybody can recommend the "best value" Bangkok's Cam-Shop for Nikon Lens (International Warranty). Looking particularly for Nikkor 24-70 f2.8.

Are Bangkok cameras/lenses cheaper than Singapore? If so, by how much? TIA

Aren't Nikon stuffs either made in Thailand or Japan? And buying in Thailand u can get them to issue VAT/GST rebate and collect at airport

So far I find them more expensive.

Based on my observation, they have 2 price list.

The first one is cheaper than singapore, but covered by local (Thailand) warranty. The second price is the one with international warranty (valid in s'pore), which is higher price.

And not all shop carry the goods with international warranty

For example, they quote me the Nikkor 70-300 VR THB 17,000 (local warranty), or THB 20,500 (International warranty).

But of course, I don't know whether they try to cheat me or not... so in the end I didn't buy it.

OK guys, I visited MBK and FYI their price is not cheap compared to SG :

Nikon 12-24 f4 (NIK Thailand wrty) = THB 41400 (with VAT)
Tokina 12-24 f4 (Intl wrty) = THB 17900 and a shop sells @ THB 14500. Both with VAT
Nikon 18-200 f3.5-5.6 = THB 31900 (with VAT)
Nikon 70-200 f2.8 = THB 64000 (with VAT)
