hi, any idea how much the heavy duty carbon fiber benro tripods cost? Namely the C-4XX and C3xx series. Remember seeing a price list here once but not anymore. Any idea? and who would keep them in stock (ie no need to pre-order)?

Hi Szekiat,

I have used the 3 series before, and now use the 428 myself as I need the height......unless you need a 2 meter high tripod, and you use an LF cam, you very likely will find a 3 series tripod good enough. It all depends on the weight your setup is.....(including the head, the tripod head that is, not your head)

BTW: I bought mine in HKG, at that time the C-328 was about 1700 HKD and the C-428 was HKD 2900. You can get them cheaper in Guangzhou or Beijing........although I didn't bargain as I found it already low priced and let them earn something too.

Can't edit my reply: I meant that the price in Beijing was already cheap.....(bought other tripods there, the C-428 I bought in HKG)

cool! I'm looking at using it for a long lens setup so my total weight will be close to 10kg. I think i'll need the 4 series. Any CSers in Beijing wanna help me get one?
