I just got this new cam and am wondering where I can find a suitable battery for it. I have tried with a 675 energizer 1.4v Zing air battery meant for hearing aid but I found that the metering is not accurate. Either over/underexpose.

From what I read so far I guess it is due to the battery voltage. Any where we can find a suitable battery of 1.3 or 1.35V in singapore or this region?

I have to adjust and compensate with the max ISO of the cam at 800 in order to obtain a more accurate reading of f5.6 at 1/125 on a reasonable bright day (4pm today). Otherwise the reading with the original setting is f1.7 at 1/125. I am using a Fuji 200 film.

I can live with the high ISO setting as long it can take pictures but wonder whether this is the correct way to do it or there is something wrong with the cam. Will be grateful if any rangefinder guru here can share some tips.

Single 1.35 volt Mercury battery PX675

Meter is CDS cell.

Thanks Ricohflex.

Err... But any idea where I can find a replacement? I was told mercury battery is no longer in production. Have been hunting the 1.35v with no luck. Is it an extinct item?

I heard Eveready EPX-675 should work.
