I have a d7d.. but i only have one battery for she.. and i wonder to know if i want to buy another batteries still can or not..? cause as what i know since sony toke over KM some accessories arent produced anymore, like the lenses.. anybody can tell me the sollution for this..?? oh ya, if i still can buy, how much will a batteries cost me..?? thx

There are at least 3 third party brands out there. Mostly cost somewhere ard 25-30 bucks. Quickly visit some shops to get them before all sold out. Go to bigger shops like Alan Photo at Sim Lim, Cathey photo, Lords at Lucky plaza etc.

To all 7D users, stock up enough NP 400 battery is important matter if u really like this cam and going to keep for long time. :)

go sony gallery order np400 as spare part. costs around $38. i got one as a spare :)

yup, use sony. i dun really trust eastgear as both copies i have dies out too fast. and since both are priced so closely, not worth to buy eastgear, go for the original. takes about 1 week for your order to come.

thanks for your replies everyone.. then im going to buy another batteries for backup since i got a only battery.. :D

how do you make the orders?

go there, take a queue number for spare parts. when it's your turn, tell them which part you want, they'll look it up in the system, tell you if it's available, and give you a price quote. you order and pay, and they'll give you a receipt. when the parts are here, they'll call you to inform you. then just go down when you're free with the receipt and collect.

now is a good time to order stuff... esp if your old film camera needs spare parts. can also get sony branded lens caps etc. i just collected a bunch of stuff... eyepiece for d5 ($4), 55mm pinch caps to replace some of my old-style minolta ones ($4), eh-7 to mod ($7)...

cool.....which sony gallery should i go? the one at funan can? i also wanna stock some batt.

i think should go to the service centre at wisma. it's on the 4th floor, have to go all the way in, past all the sony displays and past the sony-ericsson service centre

go to the one at wisma, tell them what u wan, order, pay a deposit, wait, and they call u up when the stock arrives. cheaper to buy the spares from sony service centre

Hi pals...

So far...there was a rumour about the Pentax K10 battery to be the same as 7d.
So this could be a good sign of leveraging batteries...and ensuring longetivity of the availability of the batteries.

I checked out in Taiwan and the price is about twenty five each...for the 3rd party one.
Good price...maybe tapau some next trip...

Eastgear batteries still available in Singapore right? I find them ok lar... but their current or is it voltage curve is rather abrupt... when end of capacity will abruptly die... but last quite long in vertical grip... it seems my original battery is the weak one...
