Bangkok (MBK) camera shop

I can't recall the name of the shop, but anyone bought anything from there?
I remember in June 06 I saw the price of a 70-200 L 2.8 selling for around 1.9KSGD with international warranty.....so tempting to get but didn't want to risk. The lenses are generally much cheaper there.
Any advice ?

yup i got some stuffs from there... 17-40 F4 and a 70-200 F4! as for warranty the cards i got was in Thai but try to insist on english printed ones (sometime they have it) but no worries both will insure the item.

i love their service too... they have 2 shops in MBK one on the ground level and the other on the 3rd or 4th which sells more camera bags and accessories can't recall...

I've went to the one located at the ground floor, was looking for B+W filters then but too bad they don't carry it. Staff were friendly, I was very impressed with the range of Domke bags they have there.

yup they only carry hoya and some common ones... no B+W

i bought a housebrand camera bag from them. similiar design to lowepro and the quality is quite gd too. the shop, fotofile is located on the 1st and 3rd floor.

Got a 100mm F2.8 Macro USM (international warranty) for around $750 after VAT refund. Great service for Foto Thailand!!
