Bad Experience with BH Photo

I've been buying from BH Photo and have not problem with them until recently.

They refused to process my order and wanted me to call them for verification.
I called but they wanted to talk to the person in Vpost USA to make sure that they are willing to accept the shipping. Ridiculous isn't it? Vpost USA will not be able to do this for you (it is just a warehouse and they are mostly temp staffs).

I cancelled the order and BH Photo agreed to it.

But when I checked credit card, the charges had been billed! I thought they will not bill until goods are shipped. That's just bullshit!!!

Luckily I keep the emails and will be calling my credit card to dispute the charges.

Make sure you wil not loose in the exchange rates (not much , but still to keep your principles as this is not your fault that the order didn't go through).......

I've never had any bad experience dealing with them for the past 10 years. Yes they do charge your CC first. Once the payment is approved then they will process your item for shipping. It's a hassle if you want a refund or stop the order.

I've just used the same credit card and shipping address in my last 2 orders within a month.

The international call already made me waste money for nothing! ;(

But, did you use the same Vpost addres in your previous orders? That may trigger a security measure from their side, the address hsould be the same as on the credit card comapny files......

They do, I did order from them to Vpost before also.

Is it the item value you ordered is too high this time compare to usual? That's why they want verification?

did you use another credit card to make the order?

i recently made quite a big order...no problems at all. i even RMAed one item without any problems, it was sent back to me via UPS next day delivery :thumbsup:
