Hello,
Would anyone be interested in B&W film development lessons?
Currently I am freelancing, doing all sorts of jobs, but since I have had quite some experience in developing film, I thought I could offer my services. I have had a few years of experience developing B&W film across the range, from Lucky SHD100 to Delta 3200, Pan F to T-Max P3200. I used to run a mail order film-development business (filmdevelopment.blogspot.com).
There are clear benefits to developing film yourself:
1. Freedom from lab prices
- When you develop B&W yourself, you understand how cheap B&W development can be, even with the top range of chemicals.
2. Freedom from travelling to a lab
- Leceh, especially since most neighbourhood labs don't serve B&W. Plus most of them don't really cater to your needs...
3. Freedom to develop it your way
- D-76, HC-110, T-Max Developer, Rodinal, Ilfosol etc. These are the ranges of chemicals which you can use if you develop it yourself! Each has its own magical characteristics, and only by developing yourself, would you fully understand this truth.
And many more... clearly, it's freedom.
Interested people can PM, or SMS/Call me at 91526892. Tuition fees are negotiable depending on the equipment you have - it is possible that I loan you everything for the lesson or you could get your equipment first.
Before lesson, please prepare ice and a few water bottles.
See the magic of hand developed film, souped in Rodinal,
Thanks,
Yuen
