Hi, have anyone made a purchase from B&H before? I wonder if its cheaper and reliable.

For example, I've checked the price for Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G Lens, its USD482 including shipping, which is about SGD653. It comes with 5 Year warranty(1-Year International + 4-Year USA Extension) Here's the link

have to add 7% GST, shipping company will collect during delivery. really depends on current exchange rate (by the Bank if using CC).

have used b&h and adorama only for rare (very rare) / 2nd hand item.

There's a thread on B&H in this section not long ago, you can try searching for it. The conclusion is that it is reliable

Cheaper = No.
Reliable = Yes.

They are a reliable online shop. The key here is to know the total price after adding all the shipping and handling as well as GST. Then, you can make a decision whether it is worth the trouble getting it from overseas.

They are very realiable and sometime their price can be much cheaper than local even after shipping fee when they are running promotion. I have got Canon 430EXII from them at S$380 after shipment, Domke F2 at S$140 after shipment.

They are reliable but not necessarily cheaper for new equipment since there are shipping and handling charges + GST. I have bought used equipment from them as well as from KEH.
