Toilet bowl shaped ones even!

it is not an expensive lesson for u to learn to check prices before u buy anything.

Bally a well known "chop carrot" shop, u shd had done ur homework :)
tk it as a lesson learnt

That's a relatively small price to pay for your mistake, unlike someone from another thread who paid an extra few hundred dollars after getting ripped off at another shop where she bought practically an entire DSLR setup kit.

Times like these, the first question you should ask is whether you could have done anything on your own part to prevent such an incident from happening. If you'd done your homework, you'd have been wiser.

Next time, just ask around 3 shops to have a feel of the price before making a decision.

Yea I should have checked the price== dropped my camera bag and broke the lens filter and cap yesterday so I just went into any shop and get a new one.who knows kena chop til so jialat lol

i noticed alot of different pricing for a lens cap, some cost only few dollars, some can cost as much as 15 to 20 dollars. wats the difference between them?

What done is done...as long as your DSLR & lens are still working. That's more important. :)

Well, learn a lesson and avoid them in future. So far, I have never bought anything from them yet and I may include them in my black list.

Bro, first of all, what is the thread size of the lens cap that you bought? Lastly, was it original or 3rd party lens cap?

Please post what is the brand and size and shop location you bought your cheap lens cap.

Yea thank god that my camera and lens is fine. It's a 58mm lens cap with no brand, totally similiar with the one which is selling at sgcamerastore for 3.50

physical shops and online store prices will be different due to overhead cost, so please do not complain after you got it. they got to earn abit to cover their rent/worker's salary etc...

They are infamous for the 大小通吃 (Big or Small also eat)
