Avid System.. anyone?

Need help in getting started with avid video editing.

Does any1 knows where i can get online tutorials or etc? i'm totally new to avid but will like to pick it up.

No i dun have the software just yet.... looking for tutorials and such so can start learning it.

do you have any editing background?
You can download the trial version that you can use for 14days.
It comes with electronic documentations, so that should kickstart you in getting familarised with the software.

Alternatively if you are keen, I can conduct a 1 or 2 days one-to-one training on Avid editing for you.

I recommend you spend say a few days trying to transit. My transition from FCP to Avid was made easier with guidance with an industry veteran though.
