Hey guys, just wondering. Any photos from those who went for the shoot? Really interested as wanted to go, but wrong timing ;(

You can pm me if you want to see some "nice" samples.;)
Or meet us the next time when we have our regular meetings in Peninsular. :)

You make it sound so cheeky Astin. ;) haha. but just wanna know how experienced the models are. Got a bad experience with a shoot once. The so called model was very shy and very hard to ask her to pose...

but like the look of Tammie gave from the link. The face's not bad too.

We have a "selection committee" to choose the models, and we only hire pro-models, so far we are ok.
Some models may be very shy to start with, so normally the more experienced photographers will start to shoot first, also act as ice-breaker, the less experienced photographers then follow from there.

Hi Ripper,

I have attended Astin's shoot once. Very happy with the setup and model they have choosen. These guys have done a good job. Don't hesitate. Go for it!

Being professional is alway our policy. When u pay more , u are expected to be given professional service. We may not be professional photographers but we are willing to share with u what we know. Our aim is to promote and provide quality shooting as well as quality model who are capable of doing good makeup and posing.

I feel that there is no harm in trying.Even if it is not to yr expectation, the most u lose is $60.

If u find the service good, I am sure u won't be joining those photographic club's studio shoot anymore. The information and friends u made will be worth more than that $60

hmmm... is she the fuji gal?

If anyone is interested to know more about our studio model photo shoot, you can pm me. I will try to answer all your questions.
In the past, I always jam-packed myself like sardine in Suntec or Ngee Ann and tried to shoot the fashion-show models or car-show models, after a while I figured out that there must be a better way than that. The lighting was no good in those shows (too many spot lights!), the models walked too fast (some like running!), there was always another photographers in front of me!, etc.
Now we organize our own photo shoots, we select the models we like, we set up the lights we like, we pose the models we like, we shoot what we like, there is no hurry, no need to fight for the best spot, life is really wonderful! :D :D :D
(The only catch, it is not free! We got to pay for it.)

You are the creative director of your own production. A one to one experience with the model and the time is yours. Most important you make friend and you learned.
