Norman Foster has earned his lordship awhile ago, he is better known as Lord Norman Foster these days. The treatment to the skin of St Mary Axe bldg in london similarly takes on the same language with a hexagonal tiling instead. Foster seems to have taken on a monolithic approach departing from the previous high tech efforts, seems so much cleaner and sleek.

Rayshade, wish i can visit some other his buildings, in fact there is a private house in singapore designed by norman foster. Hope I can visit.

Just for fun. For a while, have not never shoot building, too busy these few weekends. Hope can show you better work in future.

oh yes, I passed by OCBC recently, yes two concrete pylons work as a structural core, to achieve a giant span across. Structural concept is similar, technology and material express have bring HKSC bank new phrase. I think I should go down to take this building too.....

This HKSC which designed to be assembled and disassembled, like LOGO. Yes probably or after century later, it may transfer this piece of architectural to somewhere else. It will be interesting. Hope his ideas work~.

Another building of such concept is Parkview Square.

its not just about the spanning, conceptually the floors are 'hanging' off the gigantic beams spanning the giant columns at intervals. the smaller columns act as tensile structure instead of (traditionally) compression structure.

Applying the idea, if possible we can carry multipurpose storey swimming pool wall up in glass, A glassy multistorey swimming pool, with very nice view of the city...heheh~

Tan Quee Lan street. Opposite bugis. Near 7th sty hotel. Erm... more info bout the renovated shophouse... it's done by archi firm WOHA.... Completed a few months ago.

I like it, nice feel to it, but like zoossh said, alittle soft. Anyway, why don't you want the reflection of the glass? Btw, the 2nd pic would be better if it were not cut off at the top.

Btw, I like the trumps, must go there one day, too bad so far from my house.

Hahaha... was quite surprise someone took notice of Trumps. The similar ones to it is Paterson Edge. Can say it is the 1st prototype.
2nd is Arris at Yan Kit road. I prefer that one.
