ice: dont get into trouble here.. if someone tips off this forum about you.. can get into quite deep poo

Yours is a male? Is there a female around? How big is your spider? Can you take more pics on the tank...the environment the spider live in? I am quite interested... ;)

Nope unfortunaly theres no female. The female normally kill the male after they mate. Talk bout the weaker sex huh...:p

I should be taking more pictures if I can find the time. Time time I'll try to get a closer shot....

Well I keep spidy in a tank....he's favourite foods are big fat juicy crickets, meal worms and occasionally small baby mice :)

Best thing about keeping a tarantula is, it can go for more than 6 months without food or water.....and you don't have to take it for a walk or bath it :D

Pretty neat huh?

Cool man, I should start considering... Heard that there is a particular pet shop somewhere in Marine Parade which sells exotic pets. Not too sure if it is still around.

Got it from a guy I met at a pet exhibition about 6 or 7 years ago. The weird thing is, most male tarantula can only live about 3 to 4 years. Spidy is already 8 years old and still going strong :D

Can I have your secret recipe for longevity? :D :p

Not too sure if it is still around as that was years ago...

If I did not remember wrongly, it is in the basement of Marine Parade itself.

Are you talking about the corner shop next to Watsons?

Anyway if there are any guys out there who owns an Iguana please post some pics so we can all admire them :)

Erm... it wasn't Watsons the last time round. It was a long time ago... In a time where Watsons was never heard of.

Hahaha, then that would be even better ;) The more the merrier.

But what you're saying did happen to an extent. My friend who bought the spider at around the same time did loose his spider for about a month, until he found it crawling around his floor one day :D
