Anyone saw the Amaran MX at Broadcast Asia? It was underwhelming to say the least. The production specs were a big departure from the teased pre-production model bandied around at NAB17.
Not the 300 LEDs I was expecting. Instead we got 128 LEDs and ho-hum photometrics.
Amaran MX specs:
223 fc / 2400 lux at 0.98' / 0.3 m
81.8 fc / 880 lux at 1.64' / 0.5 m
18.6 fc / 200 lux at 3.28' / 1 m

Regretted waiting for it when the Sunwayfoto FL-96 has been standing in TKfoto's shelf for the longest time.
Less than half the price but more lux for the buck.
