Apple iPhoto/Aperture Photo Book

Hi All,

There's not much info on it here, so I feel compelled to share my experience with it
Lately I ordered a photo book and must say I'm really happy with the quality. The color matches what I see in my iMac very closely.
It arrived 15 days after I ordered it. I think they printed it in US.

Mine cost me S$160+ for XL hard cover, 48 pages. What doesn't get mentioned in the Apple pricing is the $15 shipping cost.

Anyone sent their photos to Apple for printing?

My Apple Photo Book didn't arrive at all!!!!

Just a word of caution if you guys are contemplating sending your precious memories to Apple for printing via iPhoto. *

Spent 4-5 days arranging the photos, adding text, background, etc and paid $77 for the printing....

After waiting for 2 weeks plus, never even get the photo book from Apple at all and I doubt I'll ever get it.

The Apple Photo Book is printed in US. Maybe it's a better idea to send it to our local printers.

Arrgghh....to think that while waiting for my China trip photo book to arrive, I was busy making a bigger Japan trip photo book.

This will be the last time I'm sending my prints to Apple!!!

The frustration, effort and time spent arranging the photos is not worth it!

hey chill... it happened to me before... you just have to email them and provide evidence of payment and the receipt number.. they will send you again.. for free...

in my case it so happened that the first book was lost in the mail before it got to me.. so in the end i got two books from Apple... its not a case of they cheat your money...

and if its really frustrating to arrange photos in a book, probably you should just print 4Rs and put in a free album given by kodak or sth...

the time taken to do a nice book gives satisfaction when you place it on your coffeetable~!
