Generally their lenses are 15-20% cheap then local set.:)

Share your view here pls..

Yeah but shipping and GST is not included. It has been discussed here already

oh :o.. according to their website, Price after shipping, I still have 18% saving.

I've bought from them and shipped by borderlinx.

Shipping to which location? Please verify this, many US shops will only ship to US locations for the announced low costs, but not to other countries.

Just to add. It's usually cheaper to get a Grey set. I've only shipped stuff not found in Singapore.

With technogadgets, there's no need to buy from overseas anymore :)

Edit: might not even need BnS since most 2nd hand items are more expensive then them :)

and things sg can't find.

Ah ya hor...technogadgets. :)

I just wonder.. how can they make from selling such a low price ? Grey set mean ? Re-condition set?

Anyone claimed warranty with them before? Any difficulties?

They are brand new brother. L lens either UZ or no date code for Canon.

I really do not care how they got it that cheaply. I just wish them prosperous business, so they will always be around to give us B&H pricing without having to leave Singapore. :)

:thumbsup::thumbsup: True!

I've decided to get from them too

I always assume no warranty when I buy grey set, so I will check properly when I collect. So far over the past 1 year plus that Technogadget have been in operation, I have never seen a single complaint about them. That says alot about this company. I do not work for them btw :)

Is borderlinx a shipping company engaged by BH? Does it ship direct to sg?

Borderlinx is a DHL venture. It's like vpost but I find it to be cheaper.

So I ship from bh to my borderlinx address and then ship from there to Singapore.

Usually I just go along with their standard UPS shipping. Quite expensive

I ordered from them twice.

First time no problem. Second time, they say "foreign issue credit card. Must verify..." End up have to fax them etc.

Anyway, they ship by UPS - quite ex. Then when it arrives, UPS will hit you with the 7% GST - which include both the item AND the shipping cost. In total, you save about 5% - for zero warranty.

These days, I get grey sets - unless really the items not available in Singapore.

As an aside: as someone noted, new grey sets often cheaper than second hand on BnS.

So far my 2 recent lens purchases are from Amazon. Same price as B & H. Seems like no issue to use Singapore credit card, although I could have used a US credit card.

Thanks! I will check this out.

You can get lenses even cheaper if you buy them in HK. That difference in price in HK and TG will be TG's profit margin. If you do decide to buy from TG, be sure to monitor their prices daily... sort of like a stock market. :bsmilie:

btw, Grey set = parallel import, so no support or warranty from Nikon Singapore.
