Might as well add soft images (lack of sharpness), noise reduction even at low ISO resulting in smudged detail, poor IS feature (only about 1 stop improvement) and less detail captured than the older f31fd.

Using ASTIA mode will bring the sharpness in F200EXR... lol... come come bash F200EXR... the fact is WX1 takes poorer quality photos for its price range...

I also dun use compact cameras for that reason too (pixel peeping 100% for noise)...

Bah it's in camera sharpening that gives you the assumption that the shot is sharp...

duhz.. the photos which the forumer posted is too small to see anything... then if u want to use this form of arguement.. using my Cybershot SE cameraphone will produce similar results to WX1...

If you guys are happy with the images (courtesy of bro poh6702), then it's good lor. Everyone's requirement is different right?

Personally, I just felt that PnS has shown a lot of improvements compared to those in the earlier years and I find the pictures from the Sony cams good enough for me too. That's why I had suggested my friend to get a Sony too and she's really happy with her new cam.

yeah agree with the pointers you guys have brought up! I'm eyeing the WX1 too, but unfortunately, missed the Comex deal.

Any idea when it will be released to stores like ms color, cathay photo, etc? I called them up and they had no idea. Seems like the wx1 is only available to sony stores so far...

From past experience, Sony sells their stuff at list price during these shows and maybe throw in some extra freebies. You should be able to get a better price at the shops you mentioned. The WX1/TX1 should already be widely available, I saw them at Best Denki IMM today.
