Anyone going Broadcast Asia 2008

Hate to disappoint you guys. But i will say that this year broadcast asia ...and communic asia..have been very disappointing. Nothing much appealing.
I think the organiser should look more into providing demostration and better programme.

Well at least the crowd is less, you get to move around easier than last year.
Will be good if they have some promotion going on.
At least that will attract more visitor for the exhibition .
I was down there today and yah...nothing much. Other than complaining about the amount of breathing that my Canon lens (for XDCAM HD) has, there was not much for me. Though the Filmgear HMI Pars are interesting as I am sure they will be much cheaper than their counterparts from Arri and Kobold.
Communic has always been boring for me....either too chim or things that I dun need.

I guess most of the time, they just want to sell to the bigger player ... and forgot about small player. Well, i think its time they look into sme or freelance interest as well. Not to mention the number of school here for film and animation.
I think education and branding is really important for the trade show. Showing casing of technology with more than a catalog will be good. Looking forward to better presentation idea and more ways of visually communicating with visitor will be great.

haha, as the name implied, its BROADCASTasia mah, mainly for broadcasters, this year alot of focus on HD broadcasting.
But even for big players, also quite sian...the only interesting booth was Sony....the rest nothing new, super boring.
maybe they should organise another one call ProPhotoVideo or something?
