Anyone caught the Autodesk Smoke 2013 demo?

Had to give BA13 a miss. Anyone caught the Autodesk Smoke 2013 demo?
It seems Smoke has been completely re-designed into a video editing cum finishing app, very much like FCP+Motion or Premiere+AE.
At a sane $3500 price tag. Any opinions?

Thanks! Great potential to become an industry favorite. Really depends on the adoption rate and the eco-system support in terms of plug-ins and templates.
The old chicken and egg. But big improvement over the old version.
