Anyone bought from valuebasket.com?

Hi all,

I'm considering a purchase of a nikon lens from valuebasket.com ... have anyone bought anything from them yet?

Seems like they have a 14 day return policy.. would like to try my first purchase and if really not as expected/desired/suitable, to return after to buy a alternate choice.. did anyone try their 14 day return policy also?

Valuebasket is legit, but be prepared to face the possibility of delayed (very very very delayed) shipments etc. Suitable for buyers who don't mind going thru a tedious and hair-dropping process in pursuit for a discount

Personally, I wouldn't order from them.

Hi there,

I've used Value basket before- bought a canon 5D Mark 3 and the EF 16-35mm wide angle lens as well . The pricing was good and service as well- both items were delivered to my door step with minimum hassle within 2 weeks.

The down side is that the warranty isnt covered by the manufacturer and they have their own in house warranty return program.
Another thing is their customer service isn't that great- I tried calling the customer service hotline and the people on the line didnt seem to speak very good English and had difficulty understanding me.

Other than that, it's a pretty good site to use as the pricing is attractive .

I place a purchase from www.valuebacket.com.sg for a SennHeiser HD800 headphone for $1531 sometime in 27 September 2013 by credit card. Money deducted from credit card before goods delivered. Several service request / complaints were registered with them. All their replies were polite excuses and blank promises. Till today 21.10.2013, look like I will not get my goods. Seems like there nothing I can do to get my $ back. Blame myself for been greedy with deep discounts.

Today 24.10.2013, I received a parcel from Valuebasket. Inside is my Sennheiser HD800. Make a purchase on online on 27.09.2013, take a total of about 1 month. I have to take back my words regarding "Seems like there nothing I can do to get my $ back. Blame myself for been greedy with deep discounts". Future buyers from www.valuebasket.com.sg please make your own very details decisions.

Bought a friends lens for his surprise birthday gift . Item arrive 10 days upon order . No Delay

They are very slow with inaccurate inventory check. Item may not be available on their side despite showing a handful number of them in stock.

The delay took me almost more than 17 days, by then I had resolved with Paypal for a refund. Refund only took place 2 days later.

WARNING: Paypal policy can only refund if you open a dispute with them within 45 days from the date you order/purchase. If it took you too long, better open a dispute before the dateline reaches.
