The XL2 and XL-H1 can take the Canon EOS adapter that allows you to fit EOS lenses to them. But be aware that there is a magnification effect of around 7x to 9x that makes even a wide angle lens into a telephoto.
Or u can buy any mid sized cam and use a DOF adapter like the Brevis, Letus, Redrock, SGPro etc.. u will be able to fit Canon EF or Even Nikon, PL len whatever u desire
Which one you talking about? If you use a 200mm lens with the EOS adapter you would get a telescope. The magnification is x7.8 in 16:9 mode, and x9.6 in 4:3 mode.
If you use it with a 35mm adapter it would be similar field of view to what you see with a 35mm camera, but with some light loss through the adapter optics.
Depth of field with a 35mm adaptor is much shallower than what you get with a video cam on its own. Basically it is only dependent on the lens you put on the front (and what aperture and zoom level you set of course). That's the whole point of using one of these.
So to summarise very briefly, use the EOS adapter for nature or astronomy shots, use the 35mm adapter to make films.
Actually there might be a slight variation depending on the adapter design, but that's the idea. The lens should give roughly the same field of view as when mounted on a 35mm camera.
