Hi sgvideoman,

Any idea with the Dualcore 2 processor in the market now, what should I get(configuration/stuffs to buy) to build a good system and what the est cost?

Hi....

Sorry. My computer hardware knowledge stop at Opteron, Athlon 64 and Pentium 4, DDR2 and PCI Express.

Have yet to update myself on the dual cores. Was spending one year doing my thesis. No time.

Managed to learn a little bit of Vegas.

The time line, trimmer, preview window, explorer, transitions, generated media, project media, video FX, etc.

What I found confusing at first with Vegas (many years ago) was that you can apply FX to clips in the Media Pool, or to clips on the timeline, or at track level. They all do slightly different things but it is easy to get mixed up about this (well it was easy for me anyway :) ). Once I got that sorted out it was all pretty straightforward.

Hi

How do I get Vegas to advance by only one frame when I use the left or right arrow? It's advancing 4 frames in one shot right now...So I can't do frame accurate editing...

Thanks in advance.

Hi sgvideoman. Press alt and the arrow key to move by single frames.

I am also in if there are any workshops or something! New to it and am interested to learn! :)

You could also try

Actually, this is a small community, so I would not be surprised if the same people are involved in all of these training courses. ;)

If you just have some questions on Vegas, you could also try the forum at

It's pretty quiet at the moment, but trying to build up members' participation.
