How is the quality of still images compared to DSLR in the auto white balance and low light condition?

it's quite a waste that's it's recorded in avchd imho... not a big fan of compressed rushes...

Great video quality. However i dont like the auto focus of the nex vg10. i shoot amature close up video, and it capture the background instead of the picture in foreground. also, video in .mts file, now having problem merging all files together. anyone can help w this?
