any snappers using NEX FOcus peaking on leica lenses?

Care to share how effective it is? looks pretty darn effective from some vids example i saw on you tube...

but what abt for portraits / face shots?

Im thinking of getting NEX5n as a temp cam while my RF is in Solms...

its ok, i used it with the leica lens, before there is focus peaking
even after focus peaking, if u really wan sharp images, u need to do magnification, but tats for me

Useful, but not dead on accurate.

It is still not good enough for rapid-focusing.

Tried the NEX-5N this afternoon...

The focus assist is amazing! On manual lens, you just have to tap the screen and it will zoom in for you to focus. Much easier than the predecessor NEX-3 & NEX-5. Coupled with the peaking, it should be much more accurate and easier.

I can't wait to see what the NEX-7 has to offer...

means like an iphone? u just tap which area u wanna focus, it zooms in?
