I dont think selenium cells can be replaced

The cell couldn't be repaired probably. But chances are that the fault is in wiring or potentiometer.

Selenium cell metering won't be very accurate in low light, but is perfectly usable in daylight for negative film

Cheers, Sean.

I have read on the internet that it can be replaced but I do not know it this service and the replacements are readily available in Singapore.

Hi Varex, I have a feeling it could be the contact and probably needs cleaning but still I hope to find someone reliable to have a look at it, instead of walking blindly into any other shop. Yup they don't do so well in low light but if I could get it fixed, it is a plus.

Thanks bro Sean and Royale for the info and advice. Appreciate it. Thanks = )
