An Open Letter of Congratulations​

Dear Admins, Mods and CSers,


I have been following the issue on ZCA and WC.
I don't know either of them personally.
But as they are active members in the forum, I have seen and benefited directly and indirectly from their contributions.

I would like to state first that I have no intention of commenting on the actual issue at hand.
But I just want to say this:

• I think it is very gentlemanly of both parties to have come forth and meet up and settle their differences amicably.
• And I think it is very good of the Admin/Mod team to come to their final decision on the matter in re-instating the status.
  With absolutely no intention of commenting on the original decision, I just personally felt a sense of quiet sadness when the original judgement was passed, as both ZCA and WC are one of the few whom I feel are positive and active contributors to the forum.
• I want to bring our memories back to that time earlier this year when CS was down for a few weeks and when every one was quite lost and was struggling to keep things going on CS's Facebook. Those were difficult times and it was with a sense of jubilation when the server finally came on and everyone cheered and resumed their normal life back on the forum.
• Hence I believe, like one of the Mod mentioned during CS Live @ SAM that there are "around 10,000 members who are so very active such that every day they die die also must go up to CS..", there are many members like me who cannot imagine living my life without CS.
  And every one of these members treasures his/her membership.
• I want to salute the Mod team who have pain-stakingly patrolled the forum and volunteered their time and efforts in keeping the order of the house.
  I put myself in their shoes and I think I would have pulled out all my hairs by the time I served all the necessary infractions.

I want to congratulate all in settling this issue in a really professional manner.
And I wish every CSers more meaningful and fruitful stay in this wonderful forum in their journey of photography.

This letter of mine is simply a congratulatory feedback,
and as its purpose has been served, I would like to close this thread now, to prevent further comments on an episode that has been settled.
